I've also received a lot of Miniture Show Awards over the years as well as quite a few NM State Fair prizes including Director's Choice Award! I am very grateful to have my work enjoyed by so many and I feel a little guilty because it is so much fun to do! When people ask how I do it (usually the translucency) I really don't know, it pretty much just happens. When I'm excited about a painting it kind of paints itself and I'm just along for the ride!
